Each month PMMC features a special patient that has an extraordinary
story. We are currently featuring Tyrone, a California sea
lion pup rescued at Huntington Beach.
"Sweet" Tyrone
Tyrone came in severely underweight, his face swollen
with pitting edema from a probable insect bite reaction.
He has a sweet demeanor letting all the other pups in his
pen snuggle beside him. Once he started feeling well enough
to eat fish on his own, he became very persistent that he
got fed first before his pen mates.
