She started in marine mammal rehabilitation as an animal care volunteer at the Marine Mammal Care Center at Fort MacArthur in March of 2008 where she advanced from volunteer to intern to husbandry assistant. Alexandra became an Animal Care Supervisor at the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in January 2016. She received her BA in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Long Beach “Go Beach”.
