Ramiro Barbuzano, Jr.
Ramiro Barbuzano, Jr. is the Education Coordinator at the Pacific Marine Mammal Center. He received his Bachelors of Science from the University of Miami in Marine Science and Biology. Upon graduation, he worked as an Assistant Dolphin Trainer at Dolphins Plus in Key Largo and then as a Dolphin Trainer at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.
Ramiro completed his Masters in Marine Biology and Ecology from the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS). He presented his Masters at the Environmental Systems and Research Institute (ESRI) on "Small, medium, and revolutionary advances to global ocean Geographic Information Systems." He has been at PMMC since November 2015, revamping the education program with fun and innovative learning experiences.
