Interim Chief Executive Officer
Blair Contratto joins PMMC as our campus steps into a bright new future in Laguna Canyon in 2026.
As interim CEO, Contratto brings a wealth of knowledge to PMMC, as she holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of California Los Angeles, a Master of Public Health from the University of Tennessee, and decades-long experience in not-for-profit health care. Her hospital leadership expertise is rooted in governance, finance and philanthropy, strategic planning, community benefit, and leadership development. Local residents may also know Blair from her current work as Chief Strategy Officer at Be Well OC, a public private partnership designed to enhance compassionate and accessible behavioral health care for all Orange County residents.
Contratto also serves as a member on the Board of Directors at CalOptima Health, the Laguna Beach Community Clinic, the Laguna Beach Garden Club, and on the City of Laguna Beach View Restoration Committee. She is also the author of Laguna Beachwalk.
Dipping her toe in the water, Blair Contratto says, “Working with the clinical, research, and educational team at Pacific Marine Mammal Center is a public health leaders’ dream. I’m honored to help guide the organization as we open our new teaching hospital, water reclamation facility, and community collaboration center”.
