CHRIS MARTINEZ
Christopher Martinez joined Pacific Marine Mammal Center’s Board of Directors in 2026 but has been happily contributing to the Center’s mission since 2018.
Christopher currently serves as AVP & Assistant General Counsel at Pacific Life Insurance Company in Newport Beach, where he primarily advises on financing, investment and governance matters.

Christopher attended several PMMC releases as a donor since 2018 and enjoyed his first private California sea lion release at Crystal Cove State Park with the Center in August of 2026. PMMC is thankful to have his incredible support, knowledge, and leadership onboard!
Christopher has previously worked at Clean Energy Fuels Corp. and Latham & Watkins LLP.
